Middlesex County was settled in 1640, officially established in 1669, then the town of Urbanna was formed in 1680. One of the founding partners, Lewis is a resident of Urbanna, and another, Brent was raised boating and vacationing in the area before sailing the Rappohannock, Piankatank, Chesapeake Bay for over a decade now.
Middlesex County areas include Jamaica, Waterview, Churchview, Warner, Saluda, Urbanna, ChristChurch, Locust Hill, Topping, Syringa, Freeport, Grafton, Hartfield, Wake, Wilton, Haryville, and Deltaville.
The Rappohannock runs along Lancasters Northern border from just upriver from Mud Creek the Punchbowl by Punchbowl Point and includes, Parrots Creek just upriver from Stove Point and Weeks Creek, Lagrange Creek, Ball Pt, Robinson Creek, Urbanna Creek and Bailey Point, Whiting Creek, Meachim Creek, Locklies Creek and Mill Creek, Bush Park Creek, Wood Creek, Hunton Creek and Sturgeon Creek, and Broad Creek, all the way to Stingray Point.
The Piankatank runs along the Southern border starting from the shallows of Meggs Bay, downriver to Anderson point, Coach Pt, Doctor Point, and down river to Wilton Point. Deeper water is found at Wilton Point by Wilton Creek, Healey Creek, Cores Creek, Moore Creek, around Stove Point Neck and in Jackson Creek, and out to the Chesapeake Bay passed Stingray Point.
Lancaster County also includes vast farmlands and wooded areas boasting natures beauty only found now in these rural settings.
